Hello and welcome to Grow Lactation!

I am a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and breastfeeding mom of 2 boys. I have been a pediatric nurse practitioner since 2016 and worked in pediatric primary care in southern NJ. Before becoming an advanced practice nurse, I was a nurse in the neonatal intensive care and pediatric units. I am currently working toward a PhD in Nursing with a focus on lactation research.

I have been lucky to care for families throughout many of my nursing roles, yet it was not until I gave birth to my first son that I realized the great need for individualized and focused lactation care. I have shifted my career toward helping families navigate breastfeeding from infancy through toddlerhood! My philosophy is that every family deserves the information and opportunity to make fully informed feeding decisions for their family.
